I Have a Dice Left by a God

Chapter 670 - 262: Queen of Calamity and Monarch Storm

Chapter 670 - 262: Queen of Calamity and Monarch Storm

Thousands of sea monster warriors leapt out from the waves, with scales reflecting the moonlight; their neck gills rapidly opening and closing, their ferocious faces filled with killing intent...The side of the Black Raven spewed out a dozen eerie green necromantic cannons.

The shells exploded, and black mist engulfed the first row of sea monsters.

Tall sea monster warriors were bitten by countless vengeful spirit faces, their necks torn open, blood gushed three meters high, and they sank unwillingly into the sea, their blood dyeing the waves red. Some sea monsters had streams of black mist burrow into their noses and ears, rupturing from within, entrails mixed with scales scattered in the black air currents, gruesomely tragic.

Having just used a sealing item to pull the ghost ship into the real world, the Grand High Priest of the Scourge Queen raised his staff, and a giant octopus raised a thick tentacle from the sea floor, accumulating power in the air, fiercely smashing towards the ghost ship. The ship’s ethereal glow intensified, blocking the mighty strike, but it was clear to everyone that the ghost ship’s glow weakened significantly with this hit.

The Grand High Priest, standing on another tentacle of the giant octopus, was boasting, with his staff bestowing the Queen’s blessing onto the octopus.

Boom!

In the sky, a warship lifted by a hurricane rushed quickly from afar, it was the storm knight order of the Monarch Storm! Tarik stood at the ship’s bow, his palm emitting a dazzling white light, as if the only one in the sea.

A lightning bolt struck down, hitting the sea monster Grand High Priest on the giant octopus.

The Grand High Priest was like a burning torch, his skin rapidly blackened and cracked, mucus flowed abundantly from his mouth and nose; he opened his mouth to scream silently, about to be shattered by the violent lightning, when suddenly a ghostly blue light emerged from his staff. The blue light descended, and all those dreadful wounds on the Grand High Priest rolled back in an instant, no visible external injuries could be seen, and the blood-soaked, shamed Grand High Priest angrily thrust his staff into one of the giant octopus’s tentacles, instantly replacing the simple commands with his aggressive will.

Eighteen tentacles rose, preparing their stance; the tentacle surface was densely covered with suckers, each sucker filled with tiny sharp teeth like countless greedy small mouths, sweeping horizontally!

The tentacles struck the Black Raven repeatedly, finally extinguishing the ethereal glow of defense, collapsing the deck, turning seven or eight sailors into pulp, their bones and flesh mixing into a pool of red mud sticking to the shattered deck; the ship’s side was impacted, leaving a deep groove over ten meters long, with black mucus seeping from it, which was the blood of the ghost ship.

Tarik crossed his hands, his face solemn, slicing out wind blades repeatedly.

Two tentacles broke, spewing dark green pus mixed with strong acidic stench. Severed limbs twitched and plunged into the sea, the seawater boiling in the acid, with several unlucky sea monster warriors touched by drops of pus, instantly dissolving into a pool of thick liquid sinking into the sea.

Following Tarik’s order, the storm knight order members shouted the name of their storm lord, fearlessly charging towards the sea monster army. They were old rivals; among the three sea lords, the sea king was the most special, precisely speaking, including the entire golden sea with Netherworld Sea, was the most unique group.

Due to faith, the three should be adversaries, but for unknown reasons, the Monarch Storm and the Scourge Queen see each other as oil and water, but both stay respectfully distant from the sea king’s forces.

"Kill!"

The sea monster Grand High Priest waved his staff, and a group of elite sea monsters in white bone armor faced the formidable storm knight order. The storm knight order was extraordinarily powerful, their wind blades were unstoppable, yet the elite sea monsters had absolute numerical superiority.

A young storm knight wielded his wind-enhanced sword, continuously slicing the necks of three elite sea monsters, with blood floating like red silk in the air. Feeling his moves exhausted, he tried to rotate his arm to reaccumulate power, but a shark-tooth scimitar cleaved from the side, directly slicing off his half-raised right arm along with the shoulder, the severed stump revealing sinister white bones and blood gushing out. He screamed in pain, his left hand forming a wind blade, but another elite sea monster skewered his abdomen with a bone fork, the barbed tip hooking inside his guts, and the sea monster laughed wickedly, twisting forcefully, tearing out the viscera alive, hanging wetly on the fork.

Elsewhere, a burly knight who had just released a large wind blade slicing several elite sea monsters in two, was surrounded, simultaneously using his storm shield to fend off wave upon wave of attacks and displaying wind maneuvering. Though he couldn’t truly fly, he fought with ease, launching leap strikes to kill one sea monster after another. However, just as he reveled in the battle, a spear tip pierced through his back, carrying chunks of flesh—it was the shadow assassin of the sea monsters!

The knight’s eyes widened, blood frothing from his mouth, unwillingly falling into the sea.

The storm knight order suffered heavy casualties but the sea monsters suffered equally severe losses, with over a hundred white-armored sea monsters dead, causing the sea monster Grand High Priest to roar in anger.

A group of sea monsters attempted to board the Black Raven, just as they were about to succeed, the ship’s side spat out an eerie green ghost fire. The ghost fire lacked temperature, directly burning souls; a dozen sea monsters screamed heart-wrenchingly within it, their scales bizarrely peeling away and their flesh limp, falling back into the sea.

Blood completely dyed the sea surface red for miles around, with foam turning pink as the waves surged.

"Who dares touch my things!" An angry roar reverberated through the clouds, as Duke Balon, with tangible blood aura, charged out from the island’s center.

"For my lord! Purify these filthy fishmen!"

Tariq, entangled with the Grand High Priest of the sea monsters, roared, his scepter summoning a thunderbolt to fall, while the Grand High Priest atop the giant octopus simultaneously summoned the Queen’s Blessing. Waves transformed into water monsters that endlessly blocked all of Tariq’s means.

As Baron was about to return to his ghost ship, a second, even larger octopus sea monster rose from the abyss, having been waiting for Baron’s appearance. Numerous eerie eyes on its body stared at Baron for a mental assault!

Baron was blocked, roaring continuously, yet he was momentarily unable to break through the deep-sea beast’s seal.

...

At the dock, Cantona took a harsh drag of smoke, discarded the cigarette butt, and crushed it underfoot.

"Luck is quite something. I was just wondering why they lingered here, even deliberately leaking information." He muttered to himself.

The Wish Book likely possesses the power to help the three Sea Lords advance further. Once news of the Wish Crystal gets out, the fanatical followers of the Queen of Calamities won’t give up.

An outstanding hunter often appears as prey, and both Baron and Tariq clearly set a trap here under the guise of negotiation. This wave should be enough headache for the calamity followers.

"Retreat."

Cantona stowed the binoculars without a trace of reluctance. A group of them quietly circumvented the sea area embroiled in frenzy and bloodshed, boarding the pre-prepared vessel for retreat.

This plan targeting the Black Raven completely failed.

The small boat sped through the night, distancing itself from the sea area stained by blood and lightning.

Inside the cabin, the atmosphere was tense to the extreme.

"Why not continue waiting?" Luna Rae couldn’t hold back. She stared at Cantona, saying, "Wait for them to exhaust each other, the Sea Monster Legion, the Storm Deacons, Baron... It’s not just the Wish Crystal; the corpses of those strong individuals and the artifacts sealed could be immense wealth even if we just profit from the chaos!"

"Profiting from the chaos?" Cantona sat in the corner, his eyes lifted mockingly, "Too many wait to profit from chaos. Between you and me, who’s the fish and who’s fishing?"

He stood up, walked to the porthole, looking at the still visible flames in the distance, feeling a chill at the cruelty of the war.

"You..." Luna Rae was a bit angered, "Do you know how much I sacrificed for this plan?"

Cantona’s eyes narrowed slightly, gradually chilling.

He reached out and pinched Luna Rae’s exquisite and charming chin, "Alright, we’re all insiders here. Stop acting; you didn’t lose out."

To one side, six Death God Deacons closed their eyes, unmoving, as if blind and deaf.

"Since Baron and Tariq have schemed for so long, even willing to use the Wish Crystal as bait, they must be fully prepared. Neither has exerted full strength; between them hides an Angel. You’ve been played."

Cantona’s voice was soft, "Our power in the Netherworld Sea isn’t easy to accumulate. There aren’t many opportunities to test wrong. These two Wish Crystals are beyond our reach. It’s more realistic to search for other Wish Crystals or..."

Cantona paused briefly, looking at Luna Rae’s now expressionless beautiful face, waggishly said, "You can also choose to stay. I wish you good luck."

Luna Rae was silent; she released her grip, stepped back two paces, sat on the deck, and quietly watched Cantona who remained calm and composed. This guy’s change wasn’t just marginal.

Letting go of such a good opportunity without a hint of reluctance, yet still coming up with one reason after another. Seeing the faces of the Death God Deacons, it’s clear they agree with his approach.
