Learning that apart from swollen feet, Lily Turner had no other discomforts, Sophia Wood felt much more at ease. However, the closer Lily got to her due date, the more anxious Sophia became.

Sophia really wanted to bring Lily to be by her side, but she considered that such an action might upset the in-laws. So, she didn’t bring it up. All she could do in her anxiety was to run to the compound every day to see Lily, and only then could her tense heart ease a little.

Seeing that Lily hadn’t started having contractions yet, Amelia decided to go home to fetch the items. After quickly explaining to the two, she swiftly left the hospital to return home for the things.
