"Madam Yu," Li Wan greeted Yu Dong as she entered the house with her brother and nephew.

Yu Dong was sitting on the couch with Xiao Hua and Shen Li. She nodded at Li Wan and greeted her back with a small smile on her lips, "Magistrate Li."

Though she was a bit angry with Li Wan for the lack of restraint she had shown when it came to her brother, there was something that Yu Dong wanted to say to Li Wan.

As the matter was important, she couldn’t ignore Li Wan.

Li Wan smiled and sat down on the couch, she then turned to look at Xiao Hua before saying, "I heard from my brother what happened. It was my nephew’s fault for acting like a hooligan. I have brought him here to apologize to you."

As she spoke she turned to look at Ji Jiangang who pursed his lips before wrenching his lips open as he said, "I apologize. I was in the wrong for trying to forcefully make you my concubine. I had no idea that you were engaged back then and ended up offending you."

"But I sent a mammy to tell you that I have a fiancee," Xiao Hua was not going to let this man have it easy. Because of him, he had a lot of trouble!

How long had it been since he went to the town? He had to stay cooped up in the village all day long. What was more, Xiao Hua knew that he was lucky to have Yu Dong who did not blame him. If it was some other woman, his engagement would have fallen through by now.

Ji Jiangang cursed the mer a thousand times in his heart before he lowered his head even more and said, "I apologize for that too, I was too young and unbridled and did not know when to recognize my limits. I am ashamed of the things that I have done. I promise that I will not do such a thing ever again."

Xiao Hua and the Yu family heard the apology of Ji Jiangang and sneered coldly in their hearts. The only reason this man was lowering his head in front of them was because Yu Dong had connections. If not this man would have snatched Xiao Hua away without any scrupulousness.

However, Xiao Hua knew when to stop. Ji Jiangang did not make any big mistakes other than harassing him and saying a few harsh words. If he dragged this matter too much then he might offed Li Wan.

She then turned to look at Li Wan and said to her, "You should relay the message to the villages that it is better to harvest the grains tonight."

As soon as she finished speaking Li Wan along with Li Zhe and Ji Jiangang turned to look at her.

Li Wan almost fainted when she heard Yu Dong’s words. Harvest tonight? The crops were yet to grow, if she sent the word to harvest crops tonight what would happen the farmers would rebel.

Seeing the expression on Li Wan’s face, Yu Dong knew what was going on in her head. She calmly sighed and said, "If they do not harvest tonight then there is no need to harvest anything."

As soon as those words fell Li Wan sat up straight.

"What do you mean?"

"The Locusts will be here by tomorrow."
