Chapter 1502 Big Yu (2)
Chapter 1502 Big Yu (2)
"Fertilizers?"
"That's right," Yu Dong nodded as she explained, "Locusts make excellent fertilizers if they are mixed with cow dung and fruit and vegetable waste. Once the fertiliser is done composting we can spread it over the fields and the ground will be even more fertile than the last time."
"Madam Yu really knows a lot of things, doesn't she? Even though we have been farming for a long time, we had no idea that locusts could be used as fertilizer."
Yu Dong simply smiled and said, "It's nothing too grand. I just read it in a book while working in the town."
"Knowing how to read seems to be a really useful thing," said one of the women as she glanced at her daughters. Would they become someone like Yu Dong if she were to send them to school?
Though Yu Dong did not go to school, she did learn how to read and write from her mother. If a few words could help Yu Dong, then certainly it could help her daughters make a living.
"There are so many locusts on the ground. Why not give it a try? Let's make a fertilizer out of it, there is no loss even if we do it," after seeing how Yu Dong's advice has always helped them, the villagers were willing to listen to Yu Dong.
"Let's go and crush the locusts. We will mix them into cow dung and household kitchen waste," one of the villagers said as they turned to collect the locusts on the ground.
When Yu Dong saw that the villagers were willing to listen to her, she turned to look at the rest of the villagers who were not collecting the locusts and said to them, "You all should take turns and thrash the rice that you have harvested."
"Threshing rice? Shouldn't we wait a few days?" One of the women asked Yu Dong. It was not that she was feeling lazy or was trying to skip work. It was just that her arms were really hurting.
Even her waist and calves were yet to recover.
If someone could have seen the owner of this voice at that time, they would have noticed that the woman resembled none other than Yu Dong! The one that died of the overdose of the happy powder.
Her eyes were sunken and her matted hair was dangling in front of her face. Her dark and hollowed eyes stared at Yu Dong who had taken over her body with hatred.
If not for Yu Dong...if not for that woman...she would be the owner of this destiny.
However, that woman took everything away from her.
"If you get close to that woman and win her sympathy, then that woman will surely take you and your father in her house, when that happens you two can kick those mers and children out of the house," Big Yu said to the little girl who was holding the doll in which her soul was trapped.
"Really? That will be amazing!" Dong Baozhi gushed. She hugged the doll in her hands and then questioned, "But how should I make Madam Yu sympathise with me? She doesn't even look at me." Dong Baozhi pouted when she thought about how Yu Dong did not even look at her the last time when she pretended to faint in front of her.
"This is not something too difficult, just ask your daddy to get along with that woman as long as your daddy and Madam Yu get close... the two of them would have to marry one another," Big Yu explained in a dead voice. Her eyes stared at Yu Dong while her face twisted in malice. Discover stories with My Virtual Library Empire
